Jan 16, 2020 Years ago when I had no idea who I was and what I wanted to do with my life, I decided to ask myself a few deep questions. I decided to sit down with myself and find out whether the many stories I was telling myself about what was possible and impossible, were true. Questions have power – great power, creative power.
Which Question Makes You Think on a Deep Level?. Do guns protect people or kill people?. Will the world be a better place if caste and religion cease to exist?. Is there a perfect life?. Does belief make God exist?.
Do we love ourselves more in the virtual world and less in the real world?. Do we control technology or is technology controlling us?. What is the meaning of rich and poor in the modern world?. Are we the biggest threat to humanity?. Do numbers in a bank account make people happy?. Do we change when we have power?
What makes philosophical questions popular in circles is the awakening they bring about in a thought process. Philosophical questions find varied answers from people from different walks of life; however, none of the answers to philosophical questions have conviction and a definitive explanation that makes perfect sense.Every individual tries to analyze and interpret their perspective on a philosophical question in a different manner. Questions about philosophy make us wonder and think differently leading to a positive discussion. The complexities of philosophical questions do not arise in the questions, but rather in our inability to comprehend rational thinking based on simple logic.
All answers pertaining to life, knowledge, reason, and existence lie within us unexplored. It’s only when we are faced with a question that our inner eye is awakened. We try and think out of the box when we give answers to philosophical questions. Well, brainstorming sessions can only make answers to philosophical questions sound sophisticated but lack substance and substantial conviction. I’ve had a lot of questions on my mind lately, and didn’t really know what to do with them. So many big decisions have to be made in my life right now, and the support of my best friend would come very helpful.
After reading all these question, and came across #41, I busted out in tears. Can’t remember the last time i let my emotions go like that, but it was more the thought of: “would i mean as much to him as he does to me?” planning on asking him this question in the nearby future, just need to know if this friendship is still worth fighting for after all that has been done. Thanks so much for this list, it really really helped me get a better vision on everything!Greetings from Holland.
